The Mobile Promo Code team is obsessive about finding you the latest promo codes because we know that money is tight these days. None of us have extra cash to waste on a cell phone because we all have more important needs like food and shelter. We encourage our readers to let us know if you have any specific wireless promo codes that you would like to see added to our list above and we would be happy to see if we can find them for you.

We know how expensive it can be to have a cell phone. You don’t plan on spending a lot on a wireless plan but you get socked with those outrageous hidden fees, you exceed your text limit or you talk too much and all of the sudden you’re paying hundreds of dollars a month. With Boost Mobile you don’t have to deal with that because you are in control of your phone, not your silly contract.

Frequently Asked Boost Mobile Questions

Q: Does Boost Mobile ever offer free phones?

Yes! Boost offers free phone specials constantly, and they always have specials to let you buy other phones for really cheap. It all depends on which features you’re looking for, what brand you prefer (ie… Apple, Samsung, HTC, etc), how much storage you need, etc. The one thing we know is there’s a perfect phone for everyone with Boost Mobile.

Q: Do they ever offer free Boost Mobile minutes?

Free minute promo codes are a little less common than cell phone discounts, but they do happen once in a while. If you see a coupon for free minutes be sure to jump on it as soon as possible though because they are rare so you might be waiting a while if you don’t get it right away.

What kind of prices do Boost Mobile phones range? Are they expensive?

It really all depends on what type of phone you’re looking for, but Boost Mobile offers phones that range anywhere from free to a few hundred dollars. As I mentioned earlier a high end brand like Apple or Samsung usually costs more, while brand like Kyocera, LG or ZTE tend to be much cheaper yet offer many of the same functionality of the expensive brands.

Q: Does Boost Mobile have Free Shipping on their phones?

Yes, one of the things we love about Boost is any phone you buy from BoostMobile.com will get shipped to you absolutely free. It’s hard to beat a deal like that!

Q: Are these coupons only for BoostMobile.com or an I use them in stores?

The coupons and promo codes you find on this site are intended to be used exclusively at BoostMobile.com. Some of the non promo code offers may be available in store but we can’t guarantee it. As we mentioned all Boost Mobile phones come with free shipping, so unless you need a phone today buying online can save you a lot of time!

Q: Does Boost Mobile require a contract?

A: Nope. One of the biggest benefits to using Boost Mobile as your carrier is that they don’t require a contract. You just pay for your bill at the start of each month and you have the flexibility to switch phones or cancel whenever you want.

Q: Can you bring your own phone to Boost Mobile?

A: It depends on which phone you intend to use, but yes some Sprint phones can be used on Boost Mobile, provided it is unlocked, which was made legal in 2014. To unlock your Sprint phone you need to request a master subsidy lock code (usually referred to as an MSL code) through Sprint. Please see Sprint’s unlocking policy for more details.

Q: Does Boost Mobile have international calling? How much does it cost?

A: Boost Mobile does allow international calling and they charge an additional fee (on top of your regular minutes) depending on which country you are calling. To find the rates they charge for each country see their international rates listings.

Q: Does Boost Mobile carry the iPhone? If so which versions?

A: Fear not Apple fans, Boost carries both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and if you’re willing to take an older version in exchange for a lower price Boost offers the iPhone 5c and 5s as well.

Q: Do they carry Android phones like the Galaxy S5, Note 4 or HTC One M8?

A: Boost carries a huge variety of Android phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S5 (as well as the Galaxy SIII, both new and pre-owned) but it does not cary the Note 4 or the HTC One M8 at this time. There are other HTC phones available such as the One SV and the Desire 510.

Q: Can I buy Boost Mobile phones at Walmart, BestBuy or Radio Shack?

A: Yes, you can buy Boost phones in most stores that sell cell phones, including the stores listed above. You can of course also buy Boost Mobile phones in official Boost Mobile stores, at BoostMobile.com. Please note that the promo codes listed above are for BoostMobile.com and will not be honored in other stores.

Q: Where can I buy Boost Mobile cards?

A: Boost Mobile cards are really easy to find and they make a nice gift for yourself or for someone else. You can buy Boost Mobile cards pretty much anywhere gift cards are sold. Just this week I’ve seen cards at Target and my local grocery store.

Q: Is Boost Mobile GSM or CDMA?

A: Boost Mobile (and Sprint since Boost uses Sprint’s wireless network) uses CDMA, as do Verizon and US Cellular. AT&T and T-Mobile are the carriers that use GSM technology to power their networks.

Q: Does Boost Mobile have 3G, 4G or LTE?

A: Since Boost Mobile uses the Sprint wireless network, they offer 3G and 4G LTE coverage wherever it is available through Sprint. It is important to note that once you reach your monthly data limit your data coverage will be throttled down to 2G however.

Q: Does boost mobile have family plans?

A: Boost Mobile does not offer family plans at this time, but since Boost’s monthly plan is cheaper than many of the big carriers, you might make out better with separate plans. You would, however have to pay the bills separately.

Q: Does Boost Mobile allow roaming?

A: Boost is great in a lot of areas but to be honest roaming is one area where they really fall short. Their website says they don’t charge for roaming, but this is true because they don’t actually allow roaming on your network so if you live in the country, or in an area with a lot of dead spots it’s probably not a great fit for you. In most major cities this won’t be an issue (unless you travel a lot) but be sure to check the coverage map before you buy just in case.

Q: Does boost mobile have unlimited data?

A: All Boost plans offer unlimited data, but the amount of high speed data (3G or 4G LTE) allowed varies depending on which plan you choose. Once you reach your data limit Boost restricts your data to 2G speeds. Also, if you’re an avid movie watcher you should know that the data that is used for Video streaming may be limited to 3G speeds.

Q: Does Boost Mobile have wifi hotspots?

A: Yes, Boost offers the option for your phone to be used as a mobile hotspot for $5 per day. Not every phone can be used as a hotspot, but many of the more popular Boost phones (including the iPhone) can be used. The hotspot is limited to 250 MB of data usage per day, so if you plan on using more than that you’ll need to pay for another day’s worth (even if you use it in the same day).

Q: How do I cancel Boost Mobile?

A: If you need to, or want to cancel your Boost Mobile service for whatever reason you can do so by calling customer service at 1-866-402-7366.

Q: Are promo codes available all year?

Individual promotions have their own expiration dates, but Boost usually has new discounts and codes available throughout the year.

Can the coupons be used on an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?

A: Boost Mobile does offer discounts on all three models of phones from time to time, but only for a limited time so it’s important to take advantage of offers when they are available.

Q: Can I use an unlocked phone with a promotion?

A: Again, the answer is both yes and no… sorry to sound like we’re hedging but it depends on what kind of service provider you had before. Phones use different types of technology known as CDMA and GSM… think of it like a gas powered truck and a diesel powered truck. They both do the same thing but they’re not interchangeable. Check with Boost before attempting to port over your old phone if you’re not sure it will work.

Q: What should I do with my old phone?

A: When you find the phone that is right for you, don’t forget you have the opportunity to save even more money by trading in your phone. You may be able to trade it in at the store, online, or sell it to a friend or on a site like Craigslist. If you’d rather not sell your phone you can alway donate it to charities that collect used cell phones to give to victims of domestic abuse. If neither option sounds good and you’re just planning on throwing it away, please help save the environment and follow these guidelines for disposing of your phone.
